LBPP LIA has been facilitating classroom action research for its teachers, namely the LIA Research Community (LRC), for the betterment of classroom practices and consequently has organized the LIA Research Colloquium consecutively since 2007. Following the first LIA Research Colloquium in Jakarta and the second in Bali, this year’s LIA Research Colloquium will be held in Yogyakarta taking the theme:
Fostering Professionalism through Action Research
As we celebrate our 50th Anniversary as a leading language institution in Indonesia committed to quality education, LBPP LIA cordially invites LIA teachers-researchers and English language teachers-researchers from other educational institutions to participate in the colloquium. We are confident that this event will serve as a forum for participants to present their research and obtain constructive feedback on research methodologies. At the same time, this forum will also provide a better understanding of classroom practices through research findings shared by peers.
To provide a forum for discussions and information exchange on Classroom Action Research practices.
To update teachers-researchers with current issues and methodologies in Classroom Action Research.
The theme is Fostering Professionalism thorugh Classroom Action Research. The main strands of the topic areas are Classroom Action Research in:
♦ Using technology in the classroom
