    Marc Helgesen (Speaker at LIA International Conference 2010, Bali)

    Marc Helgesen is professor at Miyagi Gakuin Women’s University, Sendai, Japan and adjunct professor at Teachers College Columbia University MA TESOL Program – Tokyo. He is author of over 100 books, textbooks and articles on English Language Teaching including Pearson- Longman Asia’s bestselling English Firsthand series and Practical English Language Teaching – Listening (with Steve Brown), David Nunan, editor from McGraw-Hill. Marc is particularly interested in materials design, connecting positive psychology to English language teaching, Multi-sensory learning, Task planning and extensive reading.
