As a leading English language institution in Indonesia, committed to quality learning, LBPP LIA believes the importance of providing English language teachers with teacher development programs aimed at enhancing their professionalism. It is our conviction that teacher development is the heart and soul of the true professionals. In line with this conviction, LBPP LIA has conducted numerous workshops, seminars, national and international conferences, dedicated to English Language Teaching (ELT) practitioners whom we consider are the real experts in the field.
LBPP LIA has been facilitating classroom action research for its teachers, namely the LIA Research Community (LRC), for the betterment of classroom practices and consequently has organized the LIA Research Colloquium consecutively since 2007. Following the first LIA Research Colloquium in Jakarta and the second in Bali, this year’s LIA Research Colloquium will be held in Yogyakarta..
LIA has made the Academic Gathering as an annual event starting 2006. LIA Academic Gathering constitutes a united effort of all elements in the institution to meet our commitment to quality education.
